Once again the Fineshriber Family Foundation has awarded the Culver City Education Foundation (CCEF) a visionary grant that is enriching the musical lives of our Culver City students.
Thanks to this $5,000 grant there is now a pilot program to provide private music instruction to Culver City Middle (CCMS) and High School (CCHS) students who had never had the opportunity to study privately. The program is being overseen by CCHS and Academy of Visual and Performing Arts Music Director Dr. Tony Spano and CCMS music teacher Paul Witt. It will run through May.
In recent years our middle and high school music programs have been growing larger and more vibrant thanks to grants for new musical instruments from the Fineshriber Family Foundation totaling $188,000. These new instruments have been giving every student who wants to play music the opportunity to explore the world of music with their schoolmates. The new pilot program for private instruction is further expanding and enriching the musical opportunities for our students.
CCEF is proud and grateful for our ongoing partnership with the Fineshriber Family Foundation.
