Congratulations Leslie

Congratulations to CCEF’s former Executive Director, Leslie Adler, who has been honored by the Culver City Unified School District (CCUSD) for her extraordinary dedication and drive on behalf of all CCUSD students. Assistant Superintendent Tracy Pumilia cited the GrowingGreat Garden and Nutrition Program, the Symphonic Jazz Orchestra elementary school music program and the Front and Center Theater Collaborative as a few examples of the much loved programming that Leslie and CCEF brought to our schools during her tenure as CCEF’s Executive Director.

CCUSD honored Leslie with a Building Block for Education that called her “our number one star”.

A CCEF Building Block is actually a brass plaque that is permanently affixed to one of the bricks in the CCUSD district office lobby. Proceeds from the sale of Building Blocks help make possible the amazing programs and equipment that CCEF funds for every student at every school in our district. A Building Block for Education is both a terrific gift to receive and a wonderful gift to give because the funds raised are used to make positive changes in the lives of our students.
