Friends of the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center

Merger with the Friends of Sandy Segal Youth Health Center

Academic achievement is impacted by outside factors that need to be addressed to allow every student to reach their highest potential. Thanks to the Friends of Sandy Segal Youth Health Center (SSYHC), thousands of Culver City youth have received quality physical and mental health care for over 35 years.

In 2024, the Culver City Education proudly merged with the Friends of the SSYHC and to carry on their meaningful mission to raise funds to help Culver City students to be healthy in mind, body, and spirit. CCEF is grateful to incredibly dedicated members of the Friends organization for entrusting us to continue advocating for this vital resource.

The health center will continue to be managed by the Venice Family Clinic, whose healthcare professionals serve Culver City students’ health and wellness needs – offering low and no-cost services to middle school and high school students. Named in honor of long-time dedicated CCUSD nurse Sandy Segal, the Center is located on the school campus between the middle school and high school, in the same building as the nursing office.
