Art & Innovation Lab Opens for Creativity

With our focus on supporting Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics programs within the CCUSD school system, CCEF is proud to make funding possible for the CCUSD Art & Innovation Labs (CCAIL) at our elementary schools. This re-visioning of the Visual Arts & Makerspace programs is helping to develop the creative and visual skills of students in grades TK-5. The program will guide students through hands-on visual art explorations, engineering design challenges, and design thinking projects.

Funding from CCEF provides equipment and supplies to support students in developing a sensitivity to design, sense of personal agency, and robust visual and communication skills.

As you can see in the video below that we shared at SIP for our Schools, the integration of visual art concepts with pre-engineering design concepts provides a platform for learning that is greater than the sum of its parts. Donate today to help sustain this incredible program!
