At its December 2025 meeting, the Culver City Education Foundation (CCEF) Board of Directors approved $50,000 in funding to support teacher and classroom technology replacement needs across Culver City Unified School District. This funding, requested by the Culver City Federation of Teachers, will help ensure educators have timely access to essential technology—laptops, tablets, and other classroom equipment—when repairs or replacements are needed.

Classroom technology plays a critical role in today’s learning environment. From digital lessons and collaborative projects to specialized software for STEM and arts programs, teachers rely on functioning technology every day. Quick access to replacements means students can continue learning without interruptions and educators can focus on teaching rather than troubleshooting equipment.

While this funding addresses an immediate need, CCEF is looking to the future. The goal is to make classroom technology replacement a permanent, annual line item in the Foundation’s budget. Establishing sustainable funding would allow schools to plan ahead, respond swiftly to equipment needs, and maintain high-quality learning experiences for every student.

CCEF’s action reflects the Foundation’s broader mission: stepping in to provide support where it is most needed to enrich students’ learning experiences. By making classroom technology replacement a community-supported priority, CCEF donors help ensure that educators have the tools they need to inspire, engage, and prepare students for success. Make a gift today to join the foundation.
