A Historic $1 Million Moment for Culver City Students

On September 8, 2026, CCEF proudly presented a $1 million check to CCUSD at the Board of Education meeting, marking an extraordinary moment in our 45-year history.

This investment will help create meaningful educational opportunities for more than 6,500 students across our district during the 2026–27 school year. It will support programs and resources in creative arts, STEM learning, student wellness, classroom resources, and college and career readiness.

But this moment is about much more than a check.

It represents 45 years of Culver City families, businesses, alumni, educators, board members, and community members choosing to invest in our public schools. Every donation, at every level, has helped build a legacy of community support that continues to grow.

Since CCEF was founded in 1981, generations of donors have shared a belief that every student deserves access to exceptional learning opportunities. Tonight’s milestone belongs to all of them, including those who helped establish CCEF, those who sustained it through the decades, and those whose generosity is carrying its work forward today.
