Watch our School Gardens Grow

GrowingGreat3

Every year the Culver City Education Foundation grants $1,000 to each CCUSD elementary school to help grow and sustain their school learning gardens. In effort to support sustainability awareness across the district, this funding provides a science-based opportunity for students to establish a greater respect for the environment.

Each grade has an opportunity to work hands-on, seeing how fruits and vegetables start from a seed and grow into the delicious foods they enjoy. The elementary school garden grants are made possible by
donations from community members like you – thank you for support!

Do you have a child who enjoys activities in their school garden? We’d love to hear about it! Share your story online for a chance to be featured in a future CCEF communication.
